Liquid Minerals and their importance to health

For every chemical, electrical and hormonal impulse that happens inside the body, liquid minerals make it possible. Without the liquid minerals, liquid vitamins can not be assimilated by the body. For the optimal health of the person, at least 70 different liquid minerals in the regular diet must be met.

For in their absence or deficiency, vital functions of the body are not initiated, exposing the health to degenerative diseases. The value of sufficient liquid mineral intake for optimal health must not be undermined; for so immense are their impacts and yet, so ravaging are their inadequacies. Every single degenerative disease—whether minor or major—that people suffer can be traced to a deficiency of mineral of minerals.

Minerals are elements of body tissues and body fluids that harmoniously work together with enzymes, hormones and vitamins. Liquid minerals take part in vital body activities such as energy production, protein metabolism, nerve transmission, muscle contraction, tissue structure, cell permeability, blood formations, fluid regulation, acid-base balance and blood pressure control. However not all minerals are useful and healthful to the body.

There are minerals—like mercury, lead, and aluminum—which are toxic to the body. The essential liquid minerals and liquid trace minerals should be provisioned to the body in large amounts. These essential liquid Macro minerals are Calcium, Phosphorous, Potassium, Sulphur, Sodium, Chlorine and Magnesium while few of the liquid trace minerals are Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Chromium, Selenium, Iodine, and Molybdenum.

These liquid trace minerals, although can be found in the body in infinitesimal amount, their importance is as high as the major liquid minerals. One primal function of liquid minerals is to invoke enzymes. Two good examples of this function are the liquid magnesium mineral which summons into action more than 300 different enzymes and liquid zinc mineral which invokes more than 100 diverse enzymes. Enzymes are catalysts that accelerate chemical reactions. Collectively, these chemical reactions constitute metabolism, the basis of life.

Not so long ago, the soils were abundant with minerals that benefit the plants, the major source of our whole foods. However, due to the introduction of chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides, the soil has been depleted of these indispensable minerals. In turn, the plants—vegetables and fruits—which are then harvested and prepared to be part of the daily meals on the table are deprived of the right amount of minerals. How much ever foods are eaten, the amount of minerals supplied to the body remains the same. This holds true even when people eat raw foods. Moreover, some food additives blended with certain foods render the minerals so hard, if not impossible to be processed by the body. To meet the daily value of these minerals, supplements are recommended. Liquid minerals particularly are very effective in the mineral provisions of the body.

Another deep reason of taking liquid minerals supplements is the nature of lifestyle that is prevalent in the modern day and the weakening conditions of the environment. Poor diet, vices like cigarette smoking and excess alcoholic consumption exhaust minerals while the free radicals are created. Heavy metal toxicity is another factor. Mercury, Cadmium and lead are becoming conspicuous in the industrialized cities, exposing people to unprecedented level of health risks. Even physiological and physical stresses wipe out the minerals in the body. All these premises call for something that will persistently replenish the lost minerals in the body. Liquid minerals supplements are quick to replace the minerals in the body for their liquid state allows easy passage through the bloodstream. Hence, the process for which the liquid minerals are put into health usage is quicker.
